Magazine advert FINAL
For the final draft of our magazine advert we all help to produce this, with Millie taking the picture and me using Photoshop to enter the text and gabby thinking of what text to include we all worked as a team to make this look good. We wanted to shock our audience by using an image of a child with makeup on this is very unconventional as when we look at adults with makeup we don't see this as a bad thing but when a child is wearing it it looks so unnatural!
We also added our website so our fans can find out more about the band and our 'cupcake productions' logo to make the advert look more authentic.
Digi pack Final ..
ME!
This is the final Digipack we decided to keep to the colour theme of pink, black and grey, as we thought it looked professional but still girly. I'm really happy with the images that i produced as i worked really hard to make them look the same and fit in with our color scheme, it fits in really well on the CD and i think it looks up to the standard as the professional ones that i have seen!
5th MARCH
Our production lesson yesterday was good as we knew we had mostly finished all our production, but now we really had to now focus on our ancillary tasks.
We needed to also retake our images that we took as they didn't turn out very good and the lighting that we used wasn't very professional. We stuck to our color scheme of black and white to keep it simple but effective We took the pictures in front of our white background and took some simple ones of us smiling and some on a chair so we could edit the chair out and then make us look like we was sitting on the letters of 'SugarDolls' like our original idea. Once we had these images i needed to use Photoshop to create us as if we were sitting on the letters of the "sugardolls" I did this by selecting a background of a grey brick wall and layering the words and images on top, once i had erased all the background and re-sized the images of us I was extremely pleased with the result.
Here is what the outcome was ...
Digi pack research
In the next week we would be creating our Digi pack so i wanted to do some research into what type of things we could include i looked at my copy of rhianna's CD - LOUD
The picture she has used emphasises the feminine features of the artists and portrays her image as vibrant and colorful to the viewer. The font used on the cover is thin and coloured white to stand out against the bold vibrant colours that dominate the rest of the cover, over all this really stands out and it makes a statement i hope that we will achieve a look like this for ours!!

30TH JANUARY
This is our plan for production
The plan for our digipack is as follows:
We have been planning to create a booklet in our Digi pack, this will include a large picture of each of the individual band members, a quote from each of us, a page with our signitaures on and a picture of all three of us together on the back page.
The plan for our digipack is as follows:
On the front cover of our digipack we were planning to have white background with the name of our band on in black with us 3 small sat on some of the letters. Something like this: I designed this and hopefully i can create this on photshop
On the back of our CD cover we are going to write the song titles and include a production label name and a barcode to make it look authentic.
These are the two ideas that we created :
and:
After doing this we went back to see how our editing process was coming along and as you can see we are almost finished, we are all happy with our product as we have put a lot of effort into it.
16TH OF JANUARY
During our production lesson on Tuesday the final editing needed to be done. We editied all our footage from last weeks refilming of the masks and also editied the refilmed shots that Millie did with Maya at home.
The shots of the masks looked a lot more professional now as we had changed them and the flow was much smoother
We also changed the the shots of Maya and Millie as it was unclear about what person was who, since we changed this it looks much better.
